W.M. Keck Professor of Electrical Engineering, Director Ginzton Laboratory Ultrasonics, Optical Microscopy, Fiber Optics, and Nondestructive Testing Kino concentrates on high-frequency fiber optic modulators and scanning optical microscopes for quantitative measurements of both the profiles and the material properties of integrated circuits and biological specimens. His research combines physical optics, analog processing, and digital signal processing. Ph.D. Stanford 1955
