Professor (and, by courtesy, of Computer Science) Broadband Integrated Services Digital Networks, Multimedia Systems and Applications Tobagi investigates the design and performance of Broadband Integrated Services Digital Networks and of ATM switching systems. He also works on multimedia applications (on-line distance learning and desktop video conferencing), multimedia systems (video servers and storage systems for multimedia information), and multimedia networking including network infrastructures, protocols, and management and control.
