Cost of Study

Stanford students on the double degree program will be awarded a Fellowship that reduces the cost of study at ECP to the amount paid by French residents who entered the school via the nation-wide competitive entrance examination.

Housing

All Centrale students are housed on campus in the student residence. Furnished single rooms share a shower with one other person.

Visa Information

Student visas may be obtained from the French Consulate in San Francisco. They MUST be obtained before departure. Rates for the visa vary according to the exchange rate.

Intensive Language Programs
Health Insurance

It is mandatory for students in France. Students may enroll for French health insurance, or may come with their own American health insurance policy.

The Academic Year

Foreign students are invited to arrive early, at the beginning of September, for a week-long orientation program. Vacation periods include one week at the end of October, two weeks at Christmas, one week in February or March, and two weeks at Easter. The school year ends in mid-june
