These files cover the uses of the assistant instructions and questions, the data questions and the radiologist prompt sheets. These files are based on the following files: assistant instructions: instructions.tex assistant questions: questions.tex data questions: form.tex radiologist prompt: prompt.tex ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Assistant Instructions => instructions.tex ====================== The assistant is to become familiar with the set of instructions. This document tells the assistant how to run the testing session. You will notice that the questions used during the session are in this form, but they will be placed in another document to take to the session. These instructions have been tailored to meet the requests of the radiologists at the Stanford University location. Requests such as "do not ask the for the density of the left and right breasts individually" may not be valid at your location. If there is some request of a similar nature that will not hinder you from obtaining the necessary data on the sheets, it is best to honor their requests. Assistant Questions => questions.tex =================== The assistant questions is a document that should be taken to the testing sessions to be used as a guide for prompting the radiologist. It works similar to a flow chart. There are 3 sections. The first section gives the questions for the "cover" sheet of the data questions. This section will occur for all cases. The dominant findings section and the incidental findings sections may not occur for all cases. This information is recorded on the "main" portion of the data questions. Data Questions => form.tex ============== This document is where the information for each case during the study is recorded. The form is three pages in total. The first page is the "cover" page. It will be completed for EACH case. The second and third pages, which can be printed two sided, are the "main" portion of the form and are only completed if a case has dominant or incidental findings. In other words, the cover sheet is the only part of the form completed if the case is entirely NORMAL. If a case does require this part of the form, several of these forms may be used. A new "main" section form is used to record each individual dominant finding and each incidental finding. The limiting number is determined by the case being studied. Radiologist Prompt => prompt.tex ================== This document is for the radiologists to have as a "key" during the test session. It is a one page document that lets the radiologist know what terms we are expecting to hear. It is more or less their reference sheet. The radiologist may wish to keep a copy, however, the assistant should have a copy for the radiologist at each session.
