Research interests

Experimental and theoretical research in nanophotonics and quantum photonics.

Topics include: Quantum optics, cavity QED and quantum information processing with quantum dots in photonic crystals; single quantum dot switches and modulators; active silicon nanophotonics; photonic crystal lasers and solar cells; nanometallics; inverse photonic crystal design; nonlinear optics in photonic crystals; and single molecule spectroscopy in optical nanocavities
