We resolve photoinduced changes in carrier populations of Ge/SiGe quantum wells using femtosecond pump-probe spectroscopy. Absorption transients < 400fs indicate rapid Г→L intervalley scattering that may explain exciton linewidth and suggest saturable absorber applications.
